Family Portraits at Amicalola

Ceara and her family posed for some family portraits the day after Christmas at Amicalola Falls. It was a windy, chilly day and the temperature dropped and the winds increased as we progressed up to the top of the falls.

Ceara is a law student and her sister Diedre is about to complete her doctorate, two very accomplished young women and I know her parents could not be prouder of their daughters. It was a real pleasure to spend the afternoon with this very nice family. Here are a few images from our session.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

I wanted to wish everyone, anyone, that reads this blog a very Merry Christmas. Best wishes to each of you. 2009 was a tough year for a lot of folks all over the world, it definitely was here in the USA. So let's all make 2010 the year the world comebacks strong. In the words of John Lennon, "There is nothing we can do that can't be done..." So, time to getting busy doing, best wishes to each of us in accomplishing our goals. Remember to be kind to a stranger, and never underestimate the power of an act of kindness.

Lydia - High School Senior Portraits

I had a very enjoyable Saturday afternoon visiting with Lydia and her parents, Julie and Tracy, at their beautiful slice of paradise up in the north Georgia mountains. Lydia is such a pretty young lady and there were a great variety of beautiful locations right around their property from which to shoot. We had a great session on a chilly and foreboding day that promised rain, or worse. We actually moved our session up to avoid the coming inclement weather and I became an instant, and huge, fan of Tracy and Julie's wonderful wood burning stove.

I really appreciated the mountain hospitality from a very nice, down to earth and genuinely friendly family. Thanks to each of you for the opportunity to get to know you and for sharing a little bit of your world with me. Here are a few shots of Lydia; she is truly a beautiful young woman with a very bright future.

The mountain in the background is where Lydia's grandfather used to hunt.

Heather & Greg at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens

I met Heather and Greg at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for an engagement session on Sunday and we spent about four hours getting to know each other and getting some incredible images. Steve Glass was gracious enough to accompany us and assist with the shoot; thanks buddy.

The park was just gorgeous, as it always is any time of year. Luckily, we were blessed with really good weather and had a real nice day at the gardens. Greg and Heather are a fantastic couple, great looking, friendly and so much fun. We got some great shots and we had a great a real blast. I have been so blessed to have a plethora of extraordinary clients and I have been blessed to add two more to that fine list.
