I have created a series of video slide shows for the 2010 Garage Games. There are a total of six videos. The first video is a compilation of the AMRAP and Sandbag events and some candid images from Saturday, February 6th. Video two covers the trail run on Saturday, February 6th. Video three is the women's WOD on Sunday, February 7th. Video four is the men's WOD on Sunday, February 7th. Video five is the women's Chipper on Sunday, February 7th. Video six is the men's Chipper on Sunday, February 7th. All the videos are in the three to four minute range, I kept them short enough to work with the music I selected. For the record, I use royalty free music for most of my videos and honor the copyrights of all other artists; the only exception is when I use music provided by Curtis Jones. I am the exclusive photographer for Curtis and we have an understanding and an agreement about how and when I can use his music on my blog, websites or videos.
So, here are the videos in sequence. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them and I want to acknowledge the other photographers who contributed images that you'll see in the videos: Amy Kelly, Alex Smith, Steve Glass and Joyce Hayag - great work everyone. I have created high resolution versions that are fantastic, but the first time you play the videos you may have to tolerate some downloading delays as most Internet connection speeds are not fast enough to maintain a buffer large enough to allow the video to stream without interruption. After the first time, you'll have it cached locally and it will play without interruption; however, if you are on a dial-up connection then I recommend you do not view the HQ or high resolution version because it will be too painful.
The 2010 Garage Games DVD set consists of four DVD discs. The first three contain all the images from the online gallery, over 10,000 images and the fourth DVD disc contains all six videos in high resolution MP4 file format. The videos can be played on any computer. The videos contain between 100 to a little less than 200 images each and are just a subset of the entire collection of images our photographers captured over the two day period. To purchase the DVD set please refer to the earlier post that explains how to navigate to the online gallery and the associated instruction guide that provides details for effectively using the online gallery for viewing and/or purchasing individual professional prints, print packages or the 2010 Garage Games DVD set. If anyone would like to purchase these videos on individual DVDs that can be played in a standard home entertainment DVD player contact me and it can be arranged. Please enjoy the videos and contact the studio if you have any questions or need any assistance.
