In a previous blog post I mentioned a bridal session for Christi that we were keeping under wraps until after the wedding. Lance has now been shown the images from the bridal session and the shoot has now been 'declassified' so to speak. So without further adieu here some of the images from that magical day at Berry College. Christi is radiant, beautiful and oh so elegant.
All the lighting for these images came from an off camera SB-900 firing through a Lastolite EzySoftbox and an on camera SB-900 through a standard Nikon diffuser cap for fill. Most of the images were taken with the Nikon D3x and various Nikkor primes, a few with a 24-70 f/2.8G AF-S and the rest with a Nikon D3 and the Nikkor 200mm f/2 VR.
I want to thank Christi's Maid of Honor, Jenny, for being a real team player and helping out during the shoot. She went above and beyond her normal duties and was a true friend to Christi. She did a great job with some really quick OJT and if she ever wants to work as an assistant for the studio she's got a job. Thanks also to Kathy, Christi's mom, for her assistance during the shoot as well. Of course, my wife Barbara was there and none of this could have happened without her; she is indispensable as always.
